How it works
Tarnvox joins your call as a participant, listens to every speaker, and instantly translates what they say — so everyone in the room understands each other without pausing the conversation.
Sign up with your email address or continue with Google. Your free plan includes 15 minutes of meeting time so you can try the full experience before choosing a paid plan.
Go to Manage Meetings and paste your meeting link — Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams are all supported. Add every participant who will be on the call, enter their name, and select the language they speak. The first two participants define the translation language pair.
Tarnvox sends an AI bot to your meeting lobby. When it appears, admit it the same way you would admit any other participant. The bot will silently join and begin listening straight away.
As each person speaks, the bot captures their voice, transcribes it with AI in under a second, translates it into the other language, and speaks the translation aloud back into the meeting. All participants hear everything in their own language in near real time. You can also follow the live transcript on your Tarnvox dashboard while the meeting is running.
After the meeting ends, open the meeting detail page to download the full transcript. You can also generate an AI-powered summary that structures everything into an executive overview, key topics, decisions made, action items, and open questions. Transcripts are kept for 90 days.
The bot appears as a named participant in your call. It listens to each speaker's audio track separately, so it never confuses voices. When it speaks a translation, it uses natural text-to-speech so the output sounds clear rather than robotic. If someone starts talking while the bot is speaking, the bot stops immediately so the conversation is never interrupted.
Time is counted from the moment the bot joins your meeting to the moment it leaves. Only the actual in-call time is charged against your plan balance. The free plan gives you 15 minutes. The Basic plan gives you 180 minutes per month.
